Reine Collective, Inc.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Reine Collective, Inc. ("Reine," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use the Reine mobile application and related services (together, the "Services"). Please read it carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1.Information We Collect

Reine is an AI creative director and brand manager for athletes. To provide the Services, we collect the categories of information described below.

1.1 Information you provide to us

  • Account information. Your phone number or email address, which we use to sign you in with a one-time code or link. If you choose to set a password, it is stored by our authentication provider in hashed form; we never see it.
  • Access requests. If you request access, your name, phone number, email address, your sport (optional) and whether you would like to receive updates from Reine by email or text.
  • Profile information. Your name, birthday, gender, sport, competitive level (for example, collegiate or professional), school or team, city, a written or recorded bio, your interests and your goals. Birthday and gender are required. We use your birthday to confirm you meet our age requirement, and your gender to personalize the content Reine writes, including to refer to you correctly.
  • Communications with Reine. The messages, photos and voice notes you send in chat, and the edits you make to drafts Reine prepares for you.
  • Media you choose to upload. A profile photo, the photos and videos you select to create content in the Make tab (Reine Studio), and your onboarding voice bio.
  • Feedback and support requests. Reports you submit about a Reine response, and messages you send to our support team.

1.2 Information from your team or a partner

If your team, school or a partner organization invites you to Reine, we may receive your name and contact details, and sometimes your sport or social handle, from them so that we can send you an invitation.

1.3 Information from accounts you connect

If you connect an Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn account, we receive information from that platform in accordance with the permissions you grant, including:

  • Your profile, your posts and their captions, and performance metrics such as reach, likes, comments, shares, saves and follower counts.
  • Aggregated audience information the platform provides, such as age ranges, countries and the times your followers are active.
  • Access tokens that allow Reine to read this information and, when you instruct us to, publish content on your behalf. On LinkedIn, we request your basic profile, your email address and permission to post on your behalf.

We do not keep copies of the photos and videos from your connected accounts. We store the links the platform provides, which expire within days, and the text Reine creates from your posts, such as transcripts of what is said in your videos and short descriptions of what they show.

1.4 Information collected automatically

  • Usage information. The screens you view and the actions you take in the app, associated with your account.
  • Diagnostic information. Crash reports, performance measurements and error logs.
  • Device information. A push notification token (only if you enable notifications), an analytics identifier, and your device model and operating system version.

1.5 Device permissions

The app asks your permission before it uses your camera (to shoot photos and video, or take a profile photo), your microphone (to record your bio and voice notes), your photo library (to choose media, and to save finished posts back to it) and notifications. You can change these at any time in your device settings. Reine does not ask for access to your location; your city comes only from what you type.

1.6 Publicly available information

To understand your brand, Reine may search the web for publicly available information about your athletic career, your sport and your team. We use this information as context only. Where it conflicts with information you have given us, the information you provided takes precedence.

1.7 Information we do not collect

We do not collect payment or financial information, your location, your contacts, your calendar, your browsing history or health data. The app contains no advertising and does not access your device's advertising identifier.

2.How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide and personalize the Services, including describing your brand back to you, computing your Brand Score, recommending what to create each week, writing briefs and captions, assembling carousels and reels from media you select, and keeping your connected accounts in sync.
  • To secure and maintain the Services, including authenticating you, confirming eligibility, detecting and preventing fraud or abuse, diagnosing crashes and errors, and keeping the Services reliable.
  • To communicate with you, including sign-in codes and links, invitations, service announcements, and reminders and push notifications, which you can turn off.
  • To send updates you asked for. We send marketing emails or texts only if you opted in, and you can opt out at any time, for example by replying STOP to a text.
  • To comply with law and to enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

4.Artificial Intelligence

Reine uses artificial intelligence models provided by the companies listed in Section 6. When Reine responds to you, prepares a recommendation or works on your content, the relevant parts of your profile, posts, performance metrics and messages are sent to those providers for processing.

  • Chat. Reine's replies are generated by an AI model. You can report any reply from within the app.
  • Voice. Your voice bio, voice notes and the audio in your videos are converted to text by a speech-to-text provider.
  • Photos and videos. Media you add in the Make tab, and images and videos from your connected accounts, are analyzed by a vision AI provider so that Reine can select shots, order slides, edit reels and understand your style.

AI output can be inaccurate. You may accept, edit or reject anything Reine suggests, and you decide what is published. Reine does not use automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

5.Publishing on Your Behalf

Reine allows you to create, edit and publish content to your connected accounts. When you use this feature:

  • Publishing requires your action. Content is published only when you choose to post it. Reine never posts to your accounts on its own.
  • What is sent. The photos, video, caption and hashtags you approved are sent to the platform you selected.
  • Saving instead. You may save anything you create to your device and publish it yourself.
  • Disconnecting. You may disconnect any account at any time in Settings > Account. Reine then stops reading from that account and can no longer publish to it. Information already collected remains in your Reine history until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.

Content you publish is also subject to the terms and privacy policy of the platform you publish to.

6.2 Platforms you connect

Instagram (Meta), TikTok and LinkedIn receive the content you choose to publish and provide us with the information described in Section 1.3. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your information.

6.3 Legal requirements and protection

We may disclose information where required by law or legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of you, other users, Reine or the public.

6.4 Business transfers

If Reine is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and Reine never ranks you against other athletes.

7.Data Retention

We keep information only as long as we need it to provide the Services. Some of it is kept for much less time than your account is open:

InformationHow long we keep it

Audio sent for transcription in MakeDeleted by our speech-to-text provider as soon as the transcript is returned.
Images and videos from connected accountsNot copied. We keep only the platform's links, which expire within days.
Day-by-day performance of each post14 days. After that we keep the latest figures for each post.
A chat you deleteRemoved from your history when you delete it.
Your profile, chats, goals, plan, finished posts you published through Reine, and data from connected accountsWhile your account is open, because Reine uses your history to learn what works for you.
Everything above, after you delete your accountDeleted, as described in Section 8, except limited records we must keep by law.

8.Deleting Your Account

You may delete your Reine account and associated data at any time, with or without the app.

  1. In the Reine app: open Settings with the menu icon (☰) at the top right of the Home screen, tap Delete account, then tap Delete Account under Your Account and confirm.
  2. Without the app: email privacy@reinecollective.com from the email address or with the phone number associated with your account, using the subject line "Delete my Reine account." We will verify your identity and then delete the account.

Deleting your account removes your profile, content, information from connected accounts, uploaded files, Studio projects, chat history and sign-in credentials. It also deletes the access tokens for your connected accounts, so Reine can no longer read from or publish to them. Posts you already published remain on the platform until you delete them there. You may also revoke Reine's access in each platform's own settings.

Deletion begins immediately. Copies held in our encrypted backups expire on their regular schedule, and we retain limited records only where required by law.

9.Your Rights and Choices

9.1 Choices available to everyone

  • Correction. Edit your profile in the app, or tell Reine in chat. Information you provide about yourself takes precedence over anything Reine has inferred.
  • Chats. Delete any conversation from your chat history.
  • Notifications and marketing. Turn push notifications off in Settings > Notifications or your device settings, and opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP.
  • Connected accounts and permissions. Disconnect any account in Settings > Account, and change camera, microphone and photo access in your device settings.
  • Deletion. Delete your account as described in Section 8.

9.2 Additional rights depending on where you live

Depending on your location, including if you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and access a copy of it;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Delete your personal information;
  • Receive your information in a portable format;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@reinecollective.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10.International Transfers

Reine is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live. When we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps intended to ensure that it receives protection consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11.Security

Information is transmitted between the app and our servers over encrypted connections, passwords are stored only in hashed form, and access to our systems is limited to personnel who need it to operate the Services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach that affects you as required by law.

12.Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Reine. We ask for your birthday when you sign up to confirm this. The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a person under 18 has created an account, we will delete it. If you believe someone under 18 is using Reine, contact us at privacy@reinecollective.com.

13.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will revise the dates at the end of this page and notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
